Most private insurance plans & employee assistance programs cover counselling services. It's important to contact your insurance or EAP provider to ensure you are covered to receive services from a registered, master level social worker. Most plans require you to pay for the service and then submit your receipt for reimbursement.

Payments must be made prior to session.
Cancellation & No Show Policy:
To respect all my clients, I ask that you immediately notify my office if you're unable to make your appointment. If you need to reschedule an appointment, you are required to notify me at least 24 business hours in advance (e.g. Monday appointments must be cancelled by 5:00PM on Friday). This policy gives me the opportunity to serve another client that may be waiting for counselling services.
If this policy is not followed as outlined, you will be charged the full fee for a missed appointment or late cancellation. Subsequent sessions will not be booked until the outstanding balance is paid on your file. Exceptions can be made for extenuating circumstances, but we must discuss this together. If you are sick or unable to travel, counselling sessions can be conducted via phone or video. Receipts for missed appointments will be labelled "missed appointments' not be covered by your insurance/EAP plan.
If you are more than 15 minutes late for an appointment, it may have to be rescheduled. Your appointment will still be billed for the scheduled hour.
